DOR Z HOSTECKÝCH VRCHŮ irish setter Dor is my very first Setter. He came to our family in 2004 when I was 16 years old and back then I knew nothing about Setters. And so we learned everything together. I probably had beginners luck, because Dor is great both conformation wise as well as a hunting dog. His breeder, Honza Drozd, helped us with trails and I will always be grateful to him because without his help Dor would never become a stud dog. Dor is a great hunter and his master’s discipline is water. Every year we join many duck hunting occasions and he is very valued for his skills in the whole region. He is still one of the most successful stud dogs in the Czech Republic to date. At the moment he is enjoying retirement and he is being spoilt by my parents.
