IRISH SETTER KENNEL
31.12.2023 - LOOKING BACK AT 2023
What an year it was! We were very active and also managed to have two litters. The first one in January with my friend Petra and her Kira (Daiquiri Daisy Rain) and in April our Betty had her last litter - litter G. From the litter we kept girl Goya. Our breedings were successfuly presented at shows and hunting tests not only in our cuntry but also in Slovakia, Poland, Switzerland and Croatia. Most of them were our litter "E" breedings, who were shown and trained. After many years we also had a representants at the World dog show in Swiss Geneve. Arinka (Eureca Daisy Rain) became winner of working class and also got title of Swiss Champion. Our list of champions has grown significantly: Kira (Daiquiri) became polish Champion, Ari became also Champion of Austria and Slovakia. Also our handsome Arno didn't stand back. He sired a litter in Austria and did well at show in Slovakia, from where he brought home title BOB and Slovak Champion. But it was not only about breeding and showing.
In autumn hunting season started and our girls Betty and Šery enjoyed it fully! I am trully happy that some of our breedings are also active hunting dogs - such as Damian, Kira, Agar, Diana and Cir.
I am very excited what 2024 will bring us!

27.8.2023 - VISIT OS ARNO'S PUPS
In the middle of July a litter sired by our Arno was born in Austria in kennel Gastello (breeder: Olga Gartner).
The litted was lovely and I am looking forward what will become of the pups.
25.-26.8.2023 WORLD DOG SHOW GENEVE
Eureca Daisy Rain won working class and got CAC at WDS and also circuit club show and became Swiss Champion.
7. - 10.8. 2023 VISIT AT BONBONS HOME
We visited our friends in Slovakia.
23.7.2023 - ALL OUR PUPPIES HAVE THEIR NEW HOMES
Three months became a past very fast and the last puppy girl left to her new home. We did our best to find the best homes for our 10 puppies. Puppy #11 Goya stays with us and we are three and complete again! Dear Gerry, Gin, Hubert, Goldie, Gun, Guliver and lovely Rosie, Gioia, Glory, Prixie a Goya we wish you long and happy lives with your families. We hope to hear from you from time to time and share your photos on our website in the future.

19.4.2023 - WE HAVE PUPPIES!
19th April Bety gave birth to our longtime awaited litter G. She gave birth to 11 pups - 6 boys and 5 girls. All are very vital and drink milk very well. We still have some puppies available from this litter.
1.4.2023 - ARNOU THE FRONT PAGE BOY
I totally forgot to brag with Arno's photo on the cover of our national dog magazine "Svět psů" which was released in February. It was a great honour to cooperate with the redactor Lea Smrckova on a profile of the breed illustrated with our photos. You can find also interview with us in the magazine. Thank you my friends, for your lovely feedback about the "Setter issue". Thank you Lidka and Lilly for the great photo.
24.3.2023 - PUPPIES ON THE WAY
We are over the moon to announce that Bety is pregnant and we expect puppies in the second half of April. The sire is an amazing male living in Slovakia. We hope all will go smoothly and we look forward to welcome nice litter in April. You can find more info at Puppies site.

It is unbelievable that it is already 9 years back when we took our Daisy for a wedding to Poland and we got the amazing litter A two months after.
We wish all the best to all boys and girls from the litter!

It was also the very last task for Diana to complete all necessarities to become brood bitch.
2.1.2023 - WE HAVE PUPPIES!
Kira (Daiquiri Daisy Rain) gave birth to her first litter. The unbelievable litter of 15 puppies - 8 boys and 7 girls. It must be faith - 9 years ago our beloved Daisy (grandmother of the puppies) gave birth to her first litter with exactly the same numbers. Also Kira's sister gave birth to 15 pups with the same ratio of boys and girls last year in April. Our girls are indeed very fertile. All puppies are doing fine.
